Just a few things I hate

There are so many things I hate that is are ridiculous
I hate mosquitos, like why are they even here?
I hate wearing socks and stepping in something wet.
I hate how the education system has ruined my love for learning.
I hate hate HATE sneaker wedges.
I hate that women are so heavily judged by a piece of fabric.
I hate that boys get to have their entire underwear showing at school yet my shoulders are seen as a distraction.
I hate that stupid phrase “boys will be boys”.
I hate how that phrase can be seen as justification for a man objectifying a woman’s body.
I hate when people say “she was asking for it” when referring to a female being assaulted.
I hate how a woman’s wardrobe speaks louder than her voice.
I hate how a woman’s smile means yes.
I hate how some rapists are seen as a victim rather than the person who got raped.
I hate how men try to justify their actions with how a woman was staring at them.

NO MEANS NO

I hate slut shaming.
I hate how guys can have multiple sexual partners but a woman can only have one who she’s been with for years without being seen as a ho.
I hate how a woman can only showcase her body when it is for the man’s pleasure.
I hate that people put “if he hits you or teases you it means he likes you” in the minds of adolescent girls.
If he lays his hand on you to hit you rather than to caress you he does not love you;
If his words causes your eyes to burn from tears rather than setting your heart on fire he does not love you;
If all the relationship does is cause you physical and emotional pain it is not love;

It is toxic, leave.

I hate when people try to tell me it’s not about race when another innocent black person is killed.
How can you say that when we are literally being wiped off of the face of the earth one by one?
I hate when people try to tell me that there is no such thing as white privilege when the media tried so hard to paint Dylann Roof as a saint when Trayvon Martin was seen as a thug.
I hate people who are not black who say the n word.
Baby boo you can be Indian, Asian, Spanish, white, pink, or purple for all I care BUT do not let that word in any shape or form leave your mouth
I do not give a damn if it is in your favourite song or your black friend said you could say
Nigga, nigger, NO. Do not say it.
I hate when people ask me if my hair is real.
I hate when people touch my hair.
I hate when people say they have an inner black women inside of them.

You do not; take several seats and stop talking.

I love my skin
I love being black
I hate that being black is enough to determine my self-worth.
I hate that being black can determine whether or not it will be okay to kill me.
I hate that being born black and female will be seen as a disadvantage.
I hate that women are seen as weak.
You wanna know the most easily bruised thing in the world?
A man’s ego.
I mean guys can go on and on about how they want a girl with unrealistic features but as soon as a girl says she wants a guy six foot two inches all these short guys come out of nowhere and begin to attack.
I hate when men try to say that women lie to them with makeup.
Have you seen some of you without hats?
I hate Donald Trump;
He is racist.
I hate Rachel Dolezal;
She is ignorant.
I hate racists.
I hate that people try to pick and choose what part of my culture they want to use as a prop.
I hate how Miley Cyrus having a seizure during her VMA performance is THE example of twerking.
I hate black men who talk down on black women.
Do you not know that it was a black women who carried you for months and birthed you?
How dare you use that mouth which she fed you from her own body to speak down on women like her?
You are trifling.

Malcolm X said “the most unprotected person in America is the black women”

I hate that this is true.
I hate that they tried to rule Sandra Bland’s murder as a suicide.
I hate that people are forgetting Ferguson.
I hate that there are children who would die to get an education and I take mine for granted.
I hate that I take things for granted.
I hate that reverse racism is even seen as a debate.
I hate when people try to tell me racism is over.
I hate that when I begin to speak on racism and feminism and rape culture and society and it’s screwed up concepts few will try to lower my voice so that I will not be heard.

Let me make one thing clear.

I will continue to raise my voice on issues I find important.
I will speak louder and LOUDER and LOUDER until my voice is heard
You will not turn down my volume to raise yours up.
And if you do

I hate you.
