York University awarded four honorary degrees during their fall 2010 convocation Oct. 13 to Oct. 15, recognizing outstanding leadership in the fields of business, healthcare and public service.
The award ceremonies took place at the Tennis Canada Rexall Centre at York’s Keele campus.
The recipients of the honorary doctor of laws include business man and philanthropist Ignat Kaneff; Auditor General of Canada Sheila Fraser; Dr. Frederic Jackman, psychologist and philanthropist; and Leslie Dan, pharmacist, businessman and philanthropist.
