York’s president and other senior staff will be flipping pancakes on the morning of November 2 to support United Way.
At the forefront of the pancake flipping line will be York president Mamdouh Shoukri, who will be quite literally rubbing shoulders with Patrick Monahan, vp academic and provost and Jennifer Sloan, vp university relations.
At just two dollars per pancake, last year’s event raised over $800 for the cause.
“We’re challenging our colleges across the university to support our annual participation in this worthy cause,” says Sloan, who is co-chairing this year’s United Way campaign along with Monahan.
Pancakes will be available in the Central Square cafeteria from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. with proceeds going to United Way.
