“The earthquake in Japan. The story impacted me the most since Japan is right next to Korea, and since I’m from Korea, all my family is back home. It was definitely concerning.”

“The death of Osama Bin Laden. This was a big story since I think a lot of people were relieved of the threat of terrorism.”

“The coincidence of the Arab Spring and pulling out of Iraq. It’s sort of indicative of what can be done without intervention. I think the fact we have these massive powers pulling out of countries coupled with the toppling of dictators is really interesting.”

“The Japanese tsunami. It left such a large impact, so many people were affected, and so many people were concerned with helping the country.”

“The Arab Spring. Gadhafi wouldn’t have gone down if it hadn’t been for the Syrian revolution, and Egypt following suit. Osama Bin Laden got caught and finally got killed , Kim Jong-il died, not many are left! I’m sure people just as bad will take over, though.”
