Toronto Police and York Security Services continue to investigate reports of sexual assault from two females on two separate occasions.

The first incident, which took place the morning of Saturday, September 15 according to a York security bulletin, was reported to York Security Services on Wednesday, September 19, at approximately 1:20 a.m. Joanne Rider of York media has confirmed this alleged sexual assault took place in Stong College Residence.

Police say the victim was an 18-year-old female student.

The second incident was reported to Toronto Police on Friday, September 21.

According to the police, on Thursday, September 20, 2012, at 9:30 p.m., a 17-year-old was waiting for a bus near the intersection of Ian MacDonald Boulevard and The Chimneystack Road when an unknown male approached and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect fled after the girl screamed, police say.

Police describe the suspect as white, five-foot-seven to six feet tall, approximately 30 to 40 years old, with a thin build, clean-shaven face, and a “raspy” voice.

He was last seen wearing a dark, hooded sweater with the hood up and dark pants.

York is “increasing patrols in key areas after dusk,” according to an email sent to students Tuesday night.

“We take any report of a sexual assault very seriously, and we encourage any individual who has a concern to contact York Security Services or Toronto Police Service,” says Rider in response to these sexual assaults.

No arrests have been made in either case.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 416-808-2222.
