A fire broke out in the Village at 1:30 p.m. today at 5 Applebaum Terrace, near Keele and Steeles.
Firefighters extinguished the fire in just under an hour. Black smoke could be seen billowing from the fire across campus.It is still unknown if there were any injuries related to the fire, and the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
This is the second fire in the village since April 13, when a bedroom appliance caused a fire that left 16 students homeless.
